Spark Brand Identity Refresh

project overview

Spark is an Egyptian activity-booking app for discovering and booking experiences, from aqua sports to arts and crafts. They came in wanting better UI colors. We ended up rebuilding the brand from the ground up. The first step was a brand strategy session before touching any visuals. That conversation shaped everything that followed: the creative direction, typography, color logic, and how the brand would feel across touchpoints. The piece that took the most thought was the iconography system. Eight activity categories, each with its own pictogram, shape, and color, all designed to work independently and hold together as a unit. The process started with research, Olympic pictograms, existing systems, what makes iconography feel cohesive at scale. Then sketching on iPad, digitizing, then refining until the set felt like one visual language.This kind of system-building, where every piece has its own identity but nothing feels out of place, is exactly the kind of work I want to keep doing.
